MILTON, ON, Canada – The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation’s 2nd Annual ‘TEEING OFF for a MIRACLE’ golf tournament was a tremendous SOLD OUT affair raising awareness and over $50,000 for charity!
The event was in support of the foundation’s upcoming 7th annual ‘Miracle on Main Street’ toy drive charity event scheduled to take place on December 14th, 2015. Proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards the purchase of toys, food and life essentials for families experiencing hardship via the Salvation Army, Halton Women’s Shelter and children suffering from sickness at SickKids and McMaster Children’s Hospital.
“I would like to thank all the players and sponsors that contributed towards the event being a great success”, says Tiger Jeet Singh, Chairman of Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation. “The success is a true testament to our wonderful volunteers, foundation committee members and the staff at Granite Ridge Golf Club.”
The Tigers were delighted in welcoming dignitaries and special guests Lisa Raitt, MP & Minister of Transport, Milton Mayor Gord Krantz, Brampton Mayor Linda Jeffrey, members from Hamilton Tiger Cats, Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni and Halton Regional Police.
“The objective of Miracle on Main Street is to promote the spirit of giving among all faiths,” says Tiger Jeet Singh Jr., President of Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation. “Sickness and poverty do not discriminate; neither should the spirit of giving.”
This year’s event would not have been possible without the support of presenting sponsors Royalpark Homes, CN, Team Tiger Realty, Conxcorp – LED Lighting and Bridica IT Solutions.
