The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation combined forces with Peel Regional Police and Halton Regional Police in making a formidable partnership that was further enhanced with the support of the City of Brampton, Town of Milton, Downtown Milton BIA and presenting sponsors Wallace Group, Scotiabank and Zochem!

As a result of this collaborated effort, the 16th annual Miracle on Main campaign was able to raise a new record of $2,082,714.30 in combined donations and sponsorships, which were distributed to help support the well-being of our vulnerable neighbors living across Peel, Halton and the GTA via food banks, schools, hospitals and over 200 charitable organizations and places of worship.

Miracle on Main donated toys, gift cards, food and lifestyle products to over 40,000 children and families and $30,000 worth of gift cards were donated to public schools in support of mental health and literacy. Some of the other beneficiaries included Brampton Civic Hospital, Milton District Hospital, Halton Healthcare, McMaster Children’s Hospital, SickKids, Salvation Army, Halton Women’s Place, Boys Girls Club Peel and various food banks.

“Sickness and poverty don’t discriminate; neither should the spirit of giving,” is the motto TJSF Chairman Tiger Jeet Singh said his organization follows. “We would like to thank our sponsors, business partners, volunteers, schools, media, and the community for the incredible support in helping us reach this new milestone!”

“It’s all about respecting individuals celebrating Christmas and the holidays religiously, as well as socially as a festive time of year. A simple gesture of kindness can leave an impression on a child to last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who supported, whether you volunteered, donated, or just re-posted to spread the good word, each of you contributed in a meaningful way bringing happiness to children,” said TJSF President Tiger Jeet Singh Jr.

“Miracle on Main Street was our best yet! The atmosphere was festive and electric at the same time. The partnership with the City of Brampton and the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation was a home run!”, said His Worship Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.

“We support the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and the Tigers heart for the community is so important. At Peel Police, our motto is ‘a safer community together’ and what that means is, it’s not just the police trying to make this community safer and healthier but we need to do it with the public and Miracle on Main is a perfect example of community members donating toys and it’s going to get to the right people that need it”, said Peel Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah.

“Thank you, Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, for what you do for the under privileged individuals that you help not only in Milton and Halton but all throughout the GTA, it’s much appreciated,” said His Worship Milton Mayor Gord Krantz.

“Thank you for this partnership! There are going to be thousands of children that have something at Christmas because of this event bringing the community together. This is the main event. One for all and all for one,” said Halton Police Chief Stephen Tanner.

Dignitaries and special guests that attended the events included His Worship Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, His Worship Milton Mayor Gord Krantz, Milton MP Adam Van Koeverden, Milton MPP Zee Hamid, Peel Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah, Halton Police Chief Stephen Tanner, members of both Peel Regional Police Police and Halton Regional Police, Milton Fire Dept and Halton EMS, Members from both Brampton and Milton Council, Maple Leaf Alumni Ric Natress and Peter Ing.
