TJSF, City of Mississauga and the Downtown Streetsville BIA believe that a meaningful relationship with your school has the power to bring about positive change. By aligning your school with our event, you have the chance to make a profound difference in the lives of those less fortunate while simultaneously showcasing your school’s commitment to community engagement, inclusion, and social responsibility.

TJSF teamed up with Halton Regional Police and Peel Regional Police (formally Toys for Tots)with the shared goal of reaching more families in need across the Regions of Halton and Peel.

Last year alone, the live events in Brampton and Milton along with the region wide toy drive raised over $2,200,000 through combined donations and sponsorships. Donations collected go towards the purchase of toys, food and life essentials for families experiencing poverty and injustice. Furthermore, since 2015, TJSF has donated over one million dollars to elementary schools, supporting various initiatives such as inclusive classrooms, literacy programs, breakfast programs, mental health, and gift cards. TJSF is a registered Canadian charity that does not charge for any administrative fees! 100% goes back into supporting the community.

One of the main attractions at the event is former WWE wresting superstar Tiger Ali Singh. You would think standing at 6’6” and weighing 290lbs would be enough to attract attention, but Tiger takes it to a new level. For the past 20 years, he’s used his wrestling celebrity to promote inclusion and regularly is invited to speak at school assemblies and attends the Miracle on Main festival wearing a red Santa coat, red turban and his championship belt over one shoulder. He promotes respect for those celebrating Christmas and the holiday season religiously, as well as for those celebrating it socially as a festive time of year. His motto is, “Sickness and poverty don’t discriminate; neither should the spirit of giving”.

To confirm your school’s participation (i.e. school assembly, toy drive, etc.), please contact the undersigned and/or my EA Colleen Scully at Colleen.Scully@tjsf.ca . We sincerely appreciate your consideration and look forward to welcoming you as a valued partner in this remarkable endeavor.
