The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) formed an exciting partnership with Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Toys for Tots in 2017 and a partnership with Peel Regional Police in 2019 with the hope of being able to provide for more families in need across the Regions of Halton and Peel.
Two live events in partnership with the City of Brampton and Town of Milton/Downtown Milton BIA are held at the end of November and start of December to culminate the month long toy/food drive. Admission is FREE and its encouraged that attendees kindly donate a new unwrapped toy! There are free amusement rides, food and hot chocolate, stage performances, petting zoo, pony rides, etc. Autographs and pictures are available to be taken with wrestling’s living legend Tiger Jeet Singh and former WWE wrestling superstar Tiger Ali Singh. His Worship Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown and His Worship Milton Mayor Gord Krantz will be in attendance along with their respective Members of Council. Dignitaries and other sports celebrities will be announced closer to the event date. Photographs will be available to be taken with members of Halton Regional Police, Peel Regional Police, Milton and Brampton Fire Department, Halton and Peel EMS.
One of the main attractions is former WWE wresting superstar Tiger Ali Singh. You would think standing at 6’4” and weighing 285lbs would be enough to attract attention, but Tiger takes it to a new level. Since the inception of Miracle on Main, Tiger’s lent his celebrity to promote inclusion and regularly is invited to speak at school assemblies and attends the Miracle on Main event wearing a red Santa coat, red turban, his world championship belt over one shoulder and bellows out “Merry Christmas” for all to hear. He promotes respect for those celebrating Christmas and the holiday season religiously, as well as, for those celebrating it socially as a festive time of year. His motto, which has been adopted by TJSF is, “Sickness and poverty don’t discriminate; neither should the spirit of giving”.
The donations raised each year go towards the purchase of toys, food and life essentials for families experiencing poverty and injustice. Support is provided to over 200 charitable organizations including food banks, places of worship, women shelters, hospitals and public school initiatives such as mental health, nutrition programs, inclusive classrooms, literacy and gift cards.
The following video link will showcase highlights from the most recent events at Brampton and Milton. These same videos are shown at school assemblies during Tiger’s visits. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is a not for profit registered Canadian charity that does not charge for any administrative fees! 100% goes back into supporting the community.
TJSF, HRPS and PRPS would like to invite your organization or school to participate in supporting the next Miracle on Main Street toy drive event in your community. Kindly email info@tjsf.ca to learn more about how your business or school can become involved.
