The City of Brampton is proud to present TIGERFEST as part of the Canada Day festivities on Monday, July 1st at Chinguacousy Park. This year’s TigerFest will be In support of the William Osler Health System Foundation and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health & Wellness.
TIGERFEST has been proven to attract a diverse audience and it is hoped the event will appeal to, and serve Brampton and neighbouring municipalities wide varieties of cultures and communities.
It’s no secret that the wholesome family entertainment that professional wrestling provides is experiencing an all time high in popularity around the world. So with this in mind, TIGERFEST has utilized the popularity of professional wrestling, the marketability of wrestling legend Tiger Jeet Singh and his son former WWE Superstar Tiger Ali Singh to promote Canada’s only free wrestling extravaganza in support of a number of charities.
This addition to Canada Day features live performances by Deep Jandu, Dhol Circle, NYPD Toronto (Bhangra), Jadoo Entertainment (Bollywood Dancers) and the singing of the national anthem by Prita Chhabra. Headline performance will be Canada’s own HEADLEY with special guest Anjulie.
6:00 PM is Bell Time for Wrestling. TIGERFEST will culminate in a two hour exhibition of live professional wrestling with Tiger Jeet Singh making a special guest appearance and Tiger Ali Singh wrestling in the main event. The blockbuster line up will also include former WWE Superstars Viscera weighing 450 lbs and standing 6’8”, hardcore legend Steve Corino, Darkko weighing 350 lbs and standing 6’ll”, TNA superstar Sonjay Dutt, Harry ‘Bulldog’ Smith (son of WWE Hall of Famer British Bulldog), former world champion Rhyno, Tyson, former TNA Knockout Angelina Love and a host of other Superstars.
The audience will also be treated to a one on one meet and greet with the Tigers and other Superstars upon the conclusion of the event including special time keeper Canadian Olympian and 2010 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist in wrestling Ohenewa Akuffo.
“TigerFest is a significant charity event in our City” said Mayor Fennell, “and I am proud to see it as part of our exciting Canada Day celebrations on Monday, July 1, 2013.”

We look forward to meeting the community and moving the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation another step closer to achieving its objectives.”
It will be a day of fun for the whole family with amusement rides, splash pad, mini putt, petting zoo, paddle boats, air bounce rides, children’s entertainment and FIREWORKS!

This event is a great initiative, what a wonderful way to celebrate Canada Day. Just wondering if RDB is performing, they truely made it a party never to forget! My son is crazy about wrestling, no doubt we will be there for the whole day.
