“I am truly overcome with emotion and cannot put into words the gratitude I am feeling for everyone that came out to make this event a tremendous success”, says Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. President of TJSF. “I am truly humbled by the support for this annual affair, which has become more of a reunion of great friends sharing the same vision of wanting to give back to society. The success of this event is a direct result of passion and tremendous effort by my wonderful staff, family, friends, volunteers, players and sponsors.”

The event is in support of TJSF’s 10th annual ‘Miracle on Main Street’ toy drive charity event scheduled to take place on December 10, 2018. Proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards the purchase of toys, food and life essentials for families experiencing hardship via the Salvation Army and Halton Women’s Place; children suffering from illness at SickKids and McMaster Children’s Hospital; and supporting local school initiatives such as mental health, breakfast programs, literacy and inclusive classrooms via the Halton Learning Foundation.

Dignitaries and special guests included Milton Mayor Gord Krantz, Milton MP Lisa Raitt, Halton Deputy Chief of Police Nishan Duraiappah and Roger Wilkie, Maple Leaf Alumni Peter Ing and former Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown. It truly was an international affair as players attending the event travelled in from Vietnam, India, Uganda, Nigeria, New Brunswick, Rochester, NY and British Columbia.

“I would like to thank our presenting sponsors Deloitte, Accenture and Front Street Innovations along with our caddy sponsors KPMG, Scotiabank, CONXCORP, Team Tiger Realty, Gunding & Hans LLP and Elevated Prompt Cyber Solutions”, says Tiger Jeet Singh, Chairman of TJSF. “We are very grateful for the hospitality shown to us again by Granite Ridge Golf Club and continue to hold our event there because they’ve become wonderful Ambassadors to all our guests visiting from outside of Milton and Canada.”
