I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to everyone participating in TigerFest 2011 hosted by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation in partnership with the City of Brampton.

Coinciding with Brampton Day, this charity wrestling exhibition exemplifies the goodwill and generosity that brings the community together for a worthy cause. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation will donate today's proceeds to the Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness, the Japan Relief Campaign and the Salvation Army.

This exciting day of amateur and professional wrestling is also a great forum to showcase the Foundation's work to promote active living among youth of diverse backgrounds. I commend the participants and sponsors of this year's TigerFest for your support of the community.

On behalf of the Government of Canada, please accept my best wishes for an enjoyable event.

Sincerely,

The Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper, P.C., M.P.

Dear Tiger Jr. & Troy,

On behalf of Halton Women's Place, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for its continued generosity and support -- especially with your annual Troy's Toy Drive! This huge initiative directly assists so many families in our community.

The donations brought in from your event not only provided us with an incredible amount of new toys, but also essential supplies like dish soap, light bulbs, toiletries and more. This specific donation helped us with our shelter needs and client needs as well!

We can't thank you enough for your hard work and enthusiasm towards the success of this event and helping your community. The Town of Milton is so lucky to have such generous people like Tiger Jeet Singh, Tiger Jr., Troy, Crystal and your wonderful team of volunteers!

As a supporter of Halton Women's Place, you know that making the decision to start a new life free of violence is often a difficult one. We continue to be inspired by the strength that each woman shows as she comes into our shelters, or makes that first call for help. Many times, these women will face great obstacles -- lower income, lack of affordable housing, custody issues and the loss of family traditions. Your support tells each woman that you believe in them.

We look forward to working with you as we continue to raise awareness about woman abuse and about our programs and services. Together, we can make great strides towards ending violence against women.

Sincerely,

Carm Bozzo

Thank you so much for your generosity and for all the hard work that you put into your Christmas Toy Drive. We much appreciate your ongoing dedication and contributions to our organization. Without people like you, it would not be possible to continue meting the needs of our community through our food bank services.

Because of your generosity this past Christmas, we were able to distribute approximately $75,000 worth of toys. On top of this, we were able to supply families with cases of water, light bulbs and personal hygiene products. In total, over 300 families were helped out through the donated products.

The Salvation Army -- Khi Community exists to "give hope today" to those in need in Milton and Campbellville, year round.

Thank you for standing with us to make a difference.

Dear Tiger,

On behalf of families in our community, Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for your wonderful support of McMaster Children’s Hospital. As a highly respected organization within the our region, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation has built tremendous momentum in the community through Troy’s Toy Drive, and orchestrated a truly memorable and moving visit to McMaster Children’s Hospital over the holiday season.

As you know, McMaster Children’s Hospital is one of Canada’s leading pediatric health care centres and is the regional referral centre for children who are seriously ill, injured or require specialized services in south-central Ontario. Each year over 150,000 children and their families come to McMaster Children’s Hospital seeking health and healing. Unfortunately illness and trauma do not take a break over the holiday season. Many of our young patients have to spend the entire holiday season in the hospital.

Your visit on December 13th 2011 was a ray of sunshine for all the children at the hospital. Thank you for helping us distribute the beautiful toys, games and electronics you brought to our patients who range in age from babies to teenagers. In addition to receiving gifts, it was wonderful to have two world famous wrestling superstars on hand to sign autographs and encourage these brave children who often endure months of treatment and rehabilitation. Your visit with the young boy who had just had his leg amputated below the knee was so special and more than anything showed us all how powerful reaching out to these children can be.

Thank you once again for supporting the children we care for. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is a wonderful community partner helping McMaster Children’s Hospital achieve our vision of child health, transformed!

Sincerely,

On behalf of the Child Life Department I would like to thank you for your support. The child life program at SickKids focuses on the social and emotional impact that hospitalization and illness can have on patients and families. Child Life Specialists use play and child development knowledge to promote effective coping strategies, prepare and educate children about their hospital experience and create a normal environment where children can grow, learn and play.

Your donation of toys, games and other items made it possible for us to bring joy and comfort to the patients at SickKids during the holiday season. Your donations were used to create close to 300 holiday gift bags for our in-patient population. Your donation also helped us equip our playrooms and provide gifts for the children for special milestones in their lives, such as birthdays and the end of treatment rewards.

Your thoughtfulness enhanced the hospital environment for the patients here at SickKids and enabled us to create opportunities for children to learn, grow and to be a child.

Thank you for believing in SickKids!

Sincerely,

Dear Tigers,

Thank you very much for your fundraising contribution towards William Osler Health System Foundation. On behalf of the thousands of patients who use our hospital every year, we would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to you for your generosity.

Your fundraising effort carries with it an important purpose for the Foundation and in turn, our patients. When hundreds or thousands of local residents who have benefitted from the services provided at our hospital act together, the impact on the medical care delivered is significant.

Thank you again for your contribution and we wish you and your family happy holidays and look forward to your continued support in the new year.

Thank you,
