Testimonials

Dear Mr. Jeet Singh Jr.,

Thanks to your personal investment, Milton District Hospital continues to provide excellent healthcare to our rapidly growing community! Responding to emergencies such as a critically ill infant or a person experiencing a heart attack, broken bones or nighttime fevers, our hospital provides care to anyone in the community who needs it. Only through the benevolence of people like you can we continue to equip our physicians and nurses with the most up-to-date technology possible.

I am writing on behalf of the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) Board of Directors to THANK YOU for your generous sponsorship of the 2016 Milton Haunted House Fundraiser in the amount of $2,500.00. The attached receipt may be used for income tax purposes.

As you may know, construction of a Ministry of Health approved hospital expansion is well under, Milton District Hospital Foundation remains committed to our mandate of raising funds for new and replacement equipment for our hospital today and to furnish the new building in the future.

Let me assure you again of my heartfelt appreciation for your gift! I hope we may count on your support in the future. I invite you to stay in touch and visit our website at www.mdhf.ca or follow us on Facebook.

Dear Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation,

Thank you so much for sponsoring our newest bowling event, hosted by Councillor Zee Hamid on April 7. It was a very successful evening for our organization and part of that success can be placed right at your feet! Your support helped us reach our goal of $75,000 raised through the six 2017 Bowl for Kids' Sake events.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton is a charity. We depend on the support of our donors, funders, and corporate partners to bring our programs to more than 1200 children in Halton who flourish under the mentoring of generous and caring volunteers. The effects of mentoring are life-changing - both for the adult volunteer as well as the child.

Thank you again for being an integral part of our event as a sponsor. At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton, we believe life is all about relationships, the ones that you form and the ones that form you. Dear Tiger Jr,

On behalf of the staff and the children in our care, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for helping us celebrate the recent holiday season with your special donation of toys and games as part of the 6th Annual Miracle on Main for McMaster Children’s Hospital.

Each year there are many children who are unable to go home over the holiday season. For these children and their families, the holiday season can be particularly difficult. We try to ensure the holiday season is as special as possible for the children we have the privilege to care for. We are the 4th busiest children’s hospital in the country with over 210,000 patient visits each year. Our Child Life Specialists ensure that every child that wakes up in the hospital on Christmas morning and has a handpicked bag of presents from “Santa”.

Your Miracle on Main event at the hospital is the highlight of our holiday season. The truck load of toys you deliver is our single largest donation. Your gifts helps to ensure that the children we are treating and their siblings are not forgotten, just because they are at the hospital on Christmas day.

The beautiful toys and games you have donated make an impact all year round and make the patient experience so much more memorable. Your inspirational messages and your personal visits to the patients that are too sick to come join the festivities are just a few of the reasons we look forward to your visit each year.

As you have seen firsthand, having access to distractions support children during their stay in hospital. Toys and games help alleviate boredom and stimulate children through play and imagination. Having toys, books and games on hand makes it possible to give children a special treat during what is often a difficult time.

We are so grateful to be able to count the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation as a community ambassador for McMaster Children’s Hospital. To you and all the volunteers at the Foundation that support us so selflessly, thank you for your thoughtful and generous support. Your toys brought smiles to the children’s faces and tears to the eyes of many parents at Christmas and will bring them joy throughout the year.

Sincerely,

Dear Tiger Jr;
On behalf of our community and the children we have the privilege to care for, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for its outstanding support of McMaster Children’s Hospital. 2013 marks the 25th anniversary of McMaster Children’s Hospital. In that short time we have experienced extraordinary growth. Today we are the fourth largest children’s hospital in the country with more than 40 specialty clinics. We know we couldn’t have achieved all that we have without the support of our community and friends like the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation.
In 2012 we were delighted to host the Miracle On Main Street at McMaster Children’s Hospital. The spectacle created by Tiger Jeet Singh, Tiger Jr and Troy, the skaters and dancers brought the holiday season to life within the walls of the hospital. Your generous donation of toys and personal care items helped to share the true meaning of the season with the children and families that depend on McMaster Children’s Hospital every day.
In addition to supporting McMaster Children’s Hospital you extended your support to other members of our community. I would like to personally thank you for providing a significant donation of personal care items that were shared with Good Shepherd, an organization that cares for the most vulnerable members of our community.
Once again, thank you so much for your support of our children and families. It is because of organization like the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation that McMaster Children’s Hospital can offer those we care for the best possible experience under extraordinary circumstances.

Sincerely,

Dear Tiger Jr. & Troy,

On behalf of Halton Women's Place, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for its continued generosity and support -- especially with your annual Troy's Toy Drive! This huge initiative directly assists so many families in our community.

The donations brought in from your event not only provided us with an incredible amount of new toys, but also essential supplies like dish soap, light bulbs, toiletries and more. This specific donation helped us with our shelter needs and client needs as well!

We can't thank you enough for your hard work and enthusiasm towards the success of this event and helping your community. The Town of Milton is so lucky to have such generous people like Tiger Jeet Singh, Tiger Jr., Troy, Crystal and your wonderful team of volunteers!

As a supporter of Halton Women's Place, you know that making the decision to start a new life free of violence is often a difficult one. We continue to be inspired by the strength that each woman shows as she comes into our shelters, or makes that first call for help. Many times, these women will face great obstacles -- lower income, lack of affordable housing, custody issues and the loss of family traditions. Your support tells each woman that you believe in them.

We look forward to working with you as we continue to raise awareness about woman abuse and about our programs and services. Together, we can make great strides towards ending violence against women.

Sincerely,

Carm Bozzo

Thank you so much for your generosity and for all the hard work that you put into your Christmas Toy Drive. We much appreciate your ongoing dedication and contributions to our organization. Without people like you, it would not be possible to continue meting the needs of our community through our food bank services.

Because of your generosity this past Christmas, we were able to distribute approximately $75,000 worth of toys. On top of this, we were able to supply families with cases of water, light bulbs and personal hygiene products. In total, over 300 families were helped out through the donated products.

The Salvation Army -- Khi Community exists to "give hope today" to those in need in Milton and Campbellville, year round.

Thank you for standing with us to make a difference.

Dear Tiger,

On behalf of families in our community, Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to thank the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation for your wonderful support of McMaster Children’s Hospital. As a highly respected organization within the our region, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation has built tremendous momentum in the community through Troy’s Toy Drive, and orchestrated a truly memorable and moving visit to McMaster Children’s Hospital over the holiday season.

As you know, McMaster Children’s Hospital is one of Canada’s leading pediatric health care centres and is the regional referral centre for children who are seriously ill, injured or require specialized services in south-central Ontario. Each year over 150,000 children and their families come to McMaster Children’s Hospital seeking health and healing. Unfortunately illness and trauma do not take a break over the holiday season. Many of our young patients have to spend the entire holiday season in the hospital.

Your visit on December 13th 2011 was a ray of sunshine for all the children at the hospital. Thank you for helping us distribute the beautiful toys, games and electronics you brought to our patients who range in age from babies to teenagers. In addition to receiving gifts, it was wonderful to have two world famous wrestling superstars on hand to sign autographs and encourage these brave children who often endure months of treatment and rehabilitation. Your visit with the young boy who had just had his leg amputated below the knee was so special and more than anything showed us all how powerful reaching out to these children can be.

Thank you once again for supporting the children we care for. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is a wonderful community partner helping McMaster Children’s Hospital achieve our vision of child health, transformed!

Sincerely,

On behalf of the Child Life Department I would like to thank you for your support. The child life program at SickKids focuses on the social and emotional impact that hospitalization and illness can have on patients and families. Child Life Specialists use play and child development knowledge to promote effective coping strategies, prepare and educate children about their hospital experience and create a normal environment where children can grow, learn and play.

Your donation of toys, games and other items made it possible for us to bring joy and comfort to the patients at SickKids during the holiday season. Your donations were used to create close to 300 holiday gift bags for our in-patient population. Your donation also helped us equip our playrooms and provide gifts for the children for special milestones in their lives, such as birthdays and the end of treatment rewards.

Your thoughtfulness enhanced the hospital environment for the patients here at SickKids and enabled us to create opportunities for children to learn, grow and to be a child.

Thank you for believing in SickKids!

Your fundraising effort carries with it an important purpose for the Foundation and in turn, our patients. When hundreds or thousands of local residents who have benefitted from the services provided at our hospital act together, the impact on the medical care delivered is significant.
