Hamilton, ON – The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) is now making plans for its annual “Miracle on Main Street” visit at McMaster Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 12. TJSF is truly grateful for the success experienced over the past nine years, which is a direct result of the support garnered from community partners and public schools. This year TJSF has formed an exciting partnership with Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Toys for Tots in hope of being able to provide for more families in need across our community.

The front lobby of the hospital will be transformed into a magical wonderland filled with holiday cheer! Toys will be presented to each patient and pictures will be taken with wrestling’s living legend Tiger Jeet Singh, former WWE wrestling superstar Tiger Ali Singh, members of the
Maple Leaf Alumni and players from the Hamilton Tiger Cats. TJSF partners from the Halton Regional Police Service will also be on hand to show their support!

One of the main attractions is former WWE wresting superstar Tiger Ali Singh. You’d think standing at 6’4” and weighing 285lbs would be enough to attract attention, but Tiger takes it to a new level. For the past 9 years he’s used his celebrity to promote inclusion and regularly is invited to talk at public schools and attends the Miracle on Main event wearing a red Santa coat, red turban in respect for his Sikh faith, has his world championship belt over one shoulder and bellows out “Merry Christmas” for all to hear. His motto, which has been adopted by the foundation, named after his father wrestling legend Tiger Jeet Singh, “Sickness and poverty don’t discriminate; neither should the spirit of giving”.

Since 2009, TJSF has raised several millions of dollars in combined donations and sponsorships. The donations raised each year go towards the purchase of toys, food and life essentials for families experiencing poverty and injustice via The Salvation Army and Halton Women’s Place; toys for children admitted over the holidays at SickKids and McMaster Children’s Hospital. In addition, since 2015, TJSF has donated over $75,000 to public schools to support initiatives such as inclusive classrooms, literacy, breakfast programs and mental health.
