As we enter the month of November, the Halton Regional Police Service is once again looking to organize events and seek assistance related to our annual Toys for Tots program. As in years past, we are looking to collect as many toys as possible to aid those less fortunate in the Halton Region. To improve the delivery of the program, we have formed a new and exciting partnership with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation.

The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is a Milton-based charity started by wrestling legends, humanitarians and philanthropists; Tiger Jeet Singh and his son Tiger Ali Singh. For the last nine years, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation has organized their “Miracle on Main Street” event which has raised millions of dollars for children and families in need who live in our Region. Additionally, over $50,000 has been donated to local public schools to support initiatives such as mental health, breakfast programs, literacy, coding, etc.

The Toys for Tots campaign has been running for 17 years and has positively affected the lives of thousands of families living in Halton Region during the holiday season. Halton Regional Police Service collects new and unwrapped toys during the holiday season and then distribute these toys to underprivileged children.

By partnering with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, our Police Service will be able to enhance our already successful Toys for Tots program and work collaboratively to help more families in need than ever before. It should be noted that the organizations and schools our Police Service already assist will not be impacted by this collaboration.
