In front of a packed assembly of students ranging from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation along with their partner, the Halton District School Board, successfully launched their Japan Relief Campaign on Wednesday, April 20 at Tiger Jeet Singh Public School. In addition to students at the school purchasing over 300 wrist bands, the assembly was filled with several inspirational presentations prepared by the students along with Tiger Jeet Singh Jr.
The Halton District School Board issued the following release today as they kicked off a partnership with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation to raise funds for young lives in need in Japan. On Tuesday April 19, 2011, the first shipment of 5,200 wrist bands in support of Japan was delivered to the Halton District School Board. Being a long time resident I applaud TIGER and his family for their continued efforts.
